Specifies where your Customer comes from. It is mainly used to manage your Sales Leads. Sales Leads comes from various sources, and it does not necessarily come from just Customers over the counter.

Examples: Customers could have responded to your Newspaper Advertisements, Web and/or SMS Campaigns. You may have called them up and managed to close sales with them on the phone. Or you were given referrals from existing Customers.
